Goodwill SOLAC puts people to work in the medical and customer service fields through job training programs. These programs have helped people—most of whom have faced many economic or personal obstacles in their lives—become self-sufficient by training them for careers in in-demand fields.
This training program helps people begin their career in the healthcare industry by providing them with clinical training as a Certified Nurse Assistant. After an individual successfully completes the training program, these graduates receive employment support for up to five years to assist them in accessing career ladder opportunities.
The Security Officer Training Program includes employment preparedness training, as well as, security officer training approved through the State of California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services. Upon program completion, graduates earn their California BSIS 40-Hour Guard Card. Graduates also provided the opportunity to interview with employers from the security industry.
